When Jeff Carroll left the military in 1986, he decided that he only wanted to work for himself. Years later in 2011 when Ora Warfield decided to retire and sell National Tax on Devine, she turned to Jeff who had over 25 years of experience owning and running successful small businesses. He bought her company and has taken care of the clients she considered family.
Now in his 15th year as Co-Owner and President of Carroll's National Tax, Ora's family is now part of his family too.
MEET THE TEAM
Miranda Caraway joined the Carroll Tax Team in 2022 after becoming an Enrolled Agent with the IRS. In 2023 she became Co-Owner and Jeff's Business Partner.

She has a great head for business and a love of helping others. As an Enrolled Agent she can work with the IRS on the client's behalf and help them in any tax matter they find themselves in.
Lana Brodt's career in the tax business began in the back rooms of her mom, Ora Warfield's tax office at National Tax on Devine over 35 years ago.
For her it all started with checking and processing tax returns. A couple of tax seasons she worked as the night receptionist. With a little encouragement she decided to become a tax preparer and has enjoyed her last 24 years working directly with the clients!
Kristen Lint jointed the Carroll Tax Team in September 2024 and hit the ground running. With a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of South Carolina, Kristen took to taxes like it was nothing.

Freshly graduated from Clemson University in 2025, John Lint is the newest member of the Carroll Tax Team.
